Biosketch and Research Interests
Rebekah Lambert graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience Psychology in 2008. While at the University of Memphis, she worked in several behavioral neuroscience labs and completed her Honor’s Thesis with Dr. Charles Blaha. The thesis work concentrated on determining optimal Deep Brain Stimulation parameters in the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease. She currently works as a Research Assistant in the Pharmacology-Drug Discovery lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her work mainly consists of behavioral testing with novel compounds in the efforts to develop new drugs to treat a variety of brain diseases.
