Biosketch and Research Interests
Daryl’s background and training is primarily that of a cellular molecular biologist. He worked for five years in Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Research Center laboratories at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the University of Pittsburgh. He worked for eight years at Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals; five years in discovery research and three years in biopharmaceutical product development specializing in real time qPCR and RT-qPCR assay design and development for various applications.

Since joining the Conn lab, his efforts have been focus upon drug discovery and mGluR5 compound screening leveraging established Conn lab methodologies.
