Jana is currently a graduate student in the Conn lab who joined the department of Pharmacology after beginning the IGP program in 2003. She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana in 2002 and then spent a year working at Vanderbilt as a research assistant before starting graduate school. Jana’s thesis research involves the study of muscarinic acetylcholine receptors (mAChRs), particularly the M1 and M4 subtypes, and their role in CNS function.
